About

I am a Sensory Integration trained Occupational Therapist with 14 years experience within the adult and Paediatric sectors. Having qualified as a therapist in 1996 I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, the community and school. I have completed Module I and II of Sensory Integration through the University of Cardiff.

My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of needs such as challenging behaviour, Autism, Aspergers, Down’s syndrome and more. Having a heart for voluntary work I have been involved with a number of charities, the most recent being ThePromise(http://www.thepromise.org.uk/index.php/category/work-updates/) and MeToo & Co(http://www.metooandco.org.uk).

I am also a registered childminder with OFSTED.

Since 2007 I have been part of a multi disciplinary team in a specialist school for children with Speech and Language disorders providing therapy for groups, individual children and young people.

My husband and I are registered respite carers for the Borough of Richmond, regularly providing overnight respite care. We have two daughters who are both wonderfully supportive and welcoming to other children visiting our home.
